Read & Learn: BDO Internet Banking

Hi everyone! Have you heard about this new technology in the Philippines? Hahaha! It's not really new, but for me, yes it is new! This is pretty helpful, interesting and convenient to use especially to all the OFWs who wants to monitor their BDO savings account.

With BDO Online Banking, you can do the following:
• Access your accounts 24/7
• Check your account balances and transactions for the past 3 months
• Transfer money (Fund Transfer) to any enrolled BDO account
• Pay your bills
• Buy a load for SMART, Talk ‘N Text, Globe, Touch Mobile (TM) and SUN prepaid mobile phones
• Reload BDO Cash Cards
• Order more checkbooks
• Perform Stop Payment on issued checks
• Send money (Wire Transfer) to local or international banks through telegraphic transfer
How to Register BDO Online Banking:

I'll skip step one and two. I'll direct you to the link where you can start the registration process. Otherwise, you may go to this website and follow. Click Here :)
It's actually the same, but I think, this below is easier. I love shortcuts, as long as I am not breaking any rules, and for the better. :D

1. Go to this link. Begin Register Here

 Read and once done...
>> Hit the little box beside the "I have read...."
>> And click Submit.
I don't usually read so much since this is a bank terms and conditions for public. ( One rule, I learned here in Singapore, we cannot really change bank/government conditions, unless it's an employment contract. :P ) I have read some parts of the looong Terms & Conditions, copied in a notepad, and read it back again when I had the time.

 2. Fill up  Submit.

Some Notes to Remember:
> Account Type: Deposit Acct.
Only the following accounts are allowed for initial enrolment:
 - Individual or Joint "OR" ATM-based Savings or Current Account
 - Credit Card (Principal Card)

Other BDO accounts like Time Deposits, Cash Card, Consumer Loans and Trust Accounts may be enrolled as additional accounts once you have activated your Online Banking.
> Use a gmail email account to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
> For the Account Number, make sure it's a 12 digit number. Else you may add zeros in front to make it a 12 digit number.
Example: Your account number is 1234567, to make it a 12 digit numbers add zeros, so Account No: 000012345678
> You don't really need to fill up the marketing referral code unless someone from BDO gave you this code.
> Before clicking Submit, do review and ensure correct information in the enrollment details.

3. Print the acknowledgement form and check your email.
4. Activate using an ATM machine.

For overseas, well, I'm waiting for their call. Hopefully soon! If not, I may try to cancel my application, register again and get an activation code. Anyway, I'm going back soon to Philippines and will surely use a BDO ATM machine. :)
Happy signing!
